Thursday Trailer: Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D

For some weird reason, videos aren't embedding like they usually do, so bare with the small size.


Today's trailer is of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D for the 3DS. This new trailer was shown at Capcom's Captivate event a few days ago. It should be coming out this summer, and it will have a demo of the other 3DS game they're working on, Resident Evil: Revelations. I'm very excited to play this game, especially with my friends online and locally. Hopefully I'll have a 3DS by the time it comes out!

Thursday Trailer: Sonic - 20th Anniversary Title

Today's trailer is a teaser for a new Sonic game that is due to come out this year. You see Sonic speeding across this strange land with what seems to be remnants of the past games in the series, and then... original sonic shows up? That's weird, but cool! It seems this game will only be coming out for Xbox 360 and PS3 as of right now.

Thursday Trailer: Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

This game was announced a few days ago, and some fans seem to be a bit skeptical, because it seems to be  some sort of squad-based, co-operative shooter, taking place in Raccoon City. I don't know what they're so skeptical about, seems like a cool idea to me, just as long as I get to play as Leon. By the way, did anyone notice the really big dude around 0:40? Could that be Mr. X or Nemesis?

Thursday Trailer: Animal Crossing & Paper Mario on 3DS

Well, since the 3DS is launching this weekend, and I won't be able to get one with any of the launch titles, I might as well show a couple of trailers from two of the games I'm most excited to play whenever they release. Hopefully this year around the holiday season, I'd love to get a 3DS for Christmas!

Anyway, here is a little peek at Animal Crossing and Paper Mario on the 3DS:

Thursday Trailer: Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition

Another 3DS trailer this week! This time, with Super Street Fighter IV. I'm not much of a fighting game fan, but this is one of the big launch titles, and from what I'm seeing with the different features, I may have to cave in and buy this whenever I get a 3DS.

Thursday Trailer: Steel Diver

Well, since Pokemon is out now, how about we hype up for the 3DS?! This month I'll be showing trailers for a few of the launch games coming out for the system. The trailer above is of Steel Diver, a game where you control a submarine. It was originally a tech demo for the DS system waaaay back in 2004, but now they've made it into a full-fledged game. This is one of the few first-party games available at launch.

Thursday Trailer: Pokemon Black & White

Pokemon Black and White is coming out this coming Sunday! And I am VERY excited! This trailer has been out for a while, but I thought I would post it since the launch date is so soon now. Also, a reminder to anyone reading, there's a poll asking what your starter will be on the right column of the site. I'm choosing Snivy, what about you?

Thursday Trailer: Jurassic Park

That's right! More dinosaurs this week! What are the chances? This is a trailer for TellTale's take on the Jurassic Park franchise. I'm very impressed with the way the dinosaurs look, because they look like JP dinosaurs. The people don't look that great, but they're okay. The game will be releasing in episodes just like their Back to the Future game. It's said that this game will be playing sort of like Heavy Rain, with action sequences and whatnot. The first episode will be releasing in April on PC and Mac, console versions aren't decided yet, but it's likely. And just to clarify it says the game is $29.99 when you pre-order and $34.99 regularly, that's for all the episodes, not just one, so you only have to pay once to get the episodes as they come out.

And is it just me, or does that woman character in the trailer look like Jade from Beyond Good and Evil?

Thursday Trailer: Bulletstorm

Today's trailer is Duty Calls... which is a parody of Call of Duty from People Can Fly, the developers behind Bulletstorm, an extremely over-the-top FPS, and it's coming out next week. There's a short, very awesome preview of Bulletstorm at the end of this video. This trailer is very hilarious to me because it makes fun of how linear and boring a lot of shooters are these days. Bulletstorm comes out Feb. 22nd, 2011... that's next Tuesday!

Thursday Trailer: Primal Carnage

Guess what! I thought of another feature!

Every Thursday, I'm going to be posting a trailer for a game, new or old. I just thought it would be something interesting to see and may make people aware of some games they might not have known existed! Like this one that I keep telling people about: Primal Carnage! This is a new gameplay trailer for it that I came across last week:

This game was also mentioned months ago in my 'Dinosaurs!' article. Hopefully, we'll get to see more of this game very soon! I'm loving how it's turning out so far. If you're not sure what the game is about from the video, here's a short explanation: there is a team of humans, and a team of dinosaurs, you try to kill one another, that's it really. Well, there are more game types that are mentioned on the official website, and some of them sound really fun.
